I have seen many different numbers as far as the max horsepower for a stock 2002 vfr800. Does anyone have a definite number?

There is no definite number, so, just pick one you like and use it.

As best I can tell, horsepower is/are like women, everyone of them
is different. Now if you change the day or the weather they even become that much more different. eddie

the MSO (manufacture statement of origin) states that the HP is 107BHP

different weather conditions and dyno's are going to cause different readings.
most stock bikes ive seen dyno charts for range from 95-100ish hp.

its safe to say that these are 100whp bikes.
the new breed of 600's dyno in the range of 100-115whp 40-45~wtq
new 1000's in the mid 150-160whp range 80~wtq
busa and ZX14 high 160whp range but with 100wtq

im going to get mine back on the same dyno soon, its no longer stock.
im hoping to be around 105+whp, i'll be sure to post the data.
