Hey guys, I was taking apart the carbs today and saw that one of the vacuum piston skirts (the rubber material around the piston) has a tear in it. Am I boned? I can't seem to find a place that will ship me a new Vacuum Piston, or if the Vacuum Piston assembly actually has the rubber skirt. (Part number 14 in the parts fiche)

Would I be able to patch it?

    Thanks guys.

EDIT: Will these fit my carbs?

Depending on the size it should be repairable. I had a small hole in one of the diaphrams on my xs400, about the size a tack or small nail might make and I used a little bit of gas resistant sealant. I didnt use much and the sealant is slightly flexible so it didnt affect the diaphram's performance. There is also a rubberized gas resistant spray you can get. I think it is the same rubberized spray stuff you can get in a large can at walmart for like $4 that is used for lining truck beds and sound deadening but I'm not sure. If you google'd carb diaphram repair you would probably find something useful.
