Just Wow, set a new record for gas millage 3.1 gallons, 185 miles = 59.6 mpg All though it was all freeway at a brisk pace, I was between 5500 and 6000rpms in 6th with only a 8 mile slow down through Seattle. Nice huh?
Yes thats very good. Better than I have ever gotten even stock. I am trying to get the worse millage I possibly can right now with all the power mods I can find. I will post the worse millage I can get when I get all the stuff on and tuned right.:smile:
Oh what the hell?!?...I did about 225 miles saturday, the one full tank i ran out averaged ~43mpg...I took US42 to Louisville and had some fun during the curving sections, but was mostly cruising 55-60. What is up with that?
40s is average. RVFR must have had a tail wind. But...cruising for long distances at constant speeds is the best scenario for MPG.
RV probably failed to mention the tailwind and that it was all downhill. lol j/k RV. That's awesome mpg, man.
LOL well I will say on a certain sprinted ride to some mountain, she drank pretty well, 4.4 gallons in 190 miles = 43.1 mpg, a good part of it had long... blasts to Wide open then there was the up hill attack in 4th at 10k for like 20 miles, she sure does move once asked. I was just as surprised on the mileage, must of been the air density and temp. Nope, no tail wind and actully there was just as much up hill as down. there's wasn't even any drafting either. so it goes to show play hard and pay at the pump.
Just filled up, 40 on the dot...definitely had some spirited twisty riding early on in that tank though...
So let me be lazy instead of consulting my manual and ask...2 bars blinking is what? i reminder? Then 1 will blink? I just usually fill up when the 2 bars start blinking...this is on my 98.
