tool kits

    as always with second hand bike they don't come with a tool kits of any sort, resently i tried to change my spark plugs and it wasw a tad difficult, by the time the tools that my old man ordered for me (hes great chap) came job done.... there playing up again and i've only got a socket for the plugs and i don't know what gos in the other end from the orignal kit, can anyone help, plus is there an easy way to change the front plungs?

    I'm in a similar predicament as you, however I got a partial kit with the bike. Anyway, if you go to any of the following sites (or any other that you may know of):

    mrcycle.com
    hondaparts-direct.com
    bikebandit.com

    You can search ("tools" section) to see what your year bike's tool kit came with (they will list the tools in the decsriptions under the image). For example this is what my 97 VFR should have come with:

    From there you can decide to buy from them or put together your own tool kit with your tools of choice. HTH

    Do a Google search on the MFG tool kit part number, I got bit by getting one from the dealer for $100 then found it after market for $65.
