Just joined

Hi I purchased a new 2007 red Interceptor about a month ago. My last bike was a 2003 BMW R1150 RT. This is my first sport bike. I have mainly ridden touring bikes mostly BMWs over the last 22 years. I really enjoy the Interceptor the best way to describe it is I feel like I am Superman flying along the road. I live about forty five minutes from the Dragon here in Tennessee. I thought the BMW handled well, now I realize how hard I worked to get it around the corners. I enjoy riding the local roads here in Paintrock similar to the dragon, long sweepers like the Cherohola Skyway make me slightly nervous but I love the small sharply curved roads.


I hope to get together with some of you and see how it is done

I will meet you at the BBQ I live off Rt 72 in TN which ends on 129 so I will be forced to ride through the Dragon to meet up, so my tires will be warm and more evenly worn when I get there. What time?

Welcome to the group. I was down at the Dragon on the 23rd. Saw a few VFR's there too.
