New Member/New VFR

Just wanted to say HI and send complements on a great site. Traded my GSXR in on a 2008 VFR yesterday and feel better already. Not going to get into the reasoning here, just glad to have that thing out of my garage. Only have 7.1 miles on the VFR so far (ride home from the dealer in the rain), but am very impressed so far. Hopefully it will quit raining soon and I can get some miles on her. I can tell already I'm going to be much happier on the VFR, at least a little safer and allot more comfortable! Thanks Everybody!!

Welcome aboard. This is an excellent site, my favorite of all of them. You will enjoy your VFR, but we'll let you find that out for yourself.

 

Welcome you have made a good choice GSXR's a really good widow makers whereas the Viffer is much more user friendly easier to ride and a whole heap more fun.I've had my 1999 5th Gen now for exactly one year and my poor old 2000 VTR Firestorm hardly gets a ride these days and has become obsolete in my garage.

If you are married you may find yourself in trouble with your new VFR. I've been in trouble with the old' gal on several occasions when a quick 30 minute ride turned into a quick 2 hour ride. Adding an aftermarket seat will make only increase your chances of getting in trouble with the significant other. Congrats on your purchase. You may now consider yourself to be a true gentleman biker!!
