Sounds pretty good! That's a nice, cheap way to get a good sound. I had done that to my bike last year. Only cost me a couple hours work and a friend's welder. I also installed a K&N filter, the bike seems to have a little more top end.

 

I ride a BMW GS 1200 when my wife is on the VFR, top end 230, cant catch my missus when she gets going,:wink: but I can hear her from miles away

 

Sounds great! Did you use the welded or non-welded method?

I got this bike with the mod already done but it is the welded method.

I would recomend that you put a filter in when you do this though. The easier breathing will keep the heat down and prevent any burnt valves.
