First time poster here! Would love to have a complete system for my '84... Anyone have a line on a Supertrapp or a Kerker or a V & H ???

Do you want a full system or slip-ons? The ones you mention are just slip-ons and not a 'complete system'. Either way it's going to be really tought to find anything. Performance exhaust is really rare these days!

I have a Yoshi system on my '83 750. Sorry, I can't tell you where you could get one. It was on the bike when I got it.

Well, I have a friend that has an '83 with a Supertrapp complete system and unless my recollection is wrong, I remember seeing a Kerker and a Vance & Hines complete system on a couple bikes. That was at the USGP at Laguna Seca in '83 or '84?? Guess I am dating myself there!!!! :) Anyway, if anyone has more info it would be appreciated. Today was my first visit to the site and it looks like I have some late nights ahead of me. This place is great!

Hey Eddie! Your bike looks like my buddys '83! My ride is a red '84. I have had it under the cover since '97 so I have a big job ahead of me getting it roadworthy again. Your Yoshi system is like what I am looking for. If you ever run across somthing, let me know.

The complete systems made by those two are tremendously rare. You are better off looking for a Hindle 4:1 which were more popular by far. Even so, they are extremely difficult to locate these days.

    You want expensive and rare?

How about a NEW Bassani Exhaust. Starting bid on E-bay for the last one I saw was $1000.

Interested but not for $1000.00 !! Looks like I better step up my effort to buy the Supertrapp 4 into 2 system my buddy has on his '83. Bike has not been riden in 10+ years and likely not be in the next 10. Secondly, I think I am beginning to like my stock exh. more and more!! :)

Just to clarify, the system is not mine, I just stole the pictures off the Ebay ad when it was auction off way back when.

The only problem with an aftermarket exhaust is THEY WILL TELL ON YOU!!! I can break all kinds of laws on my '07 VFR and nobody ever knows about it, but the Yoshis on the 'Ole 83 will rat me out every time.:vtr2:

There's a member on VFRDiscussion that may have a Kerker system for sale. Try posting there.

I scored my full 2-2 Vance&Hines in really good condition from an obscure salvage yard in Wisconsin for $250.

I have a kerker full system for vf750f '83 and '84. I bought it as NOS and I opened the box back around 2000 or 1999, but I didn't end up using it before I stopped riding the bike. The original expanded foam packing is degraded so I'd need to get it re-packed to ship it. The center stand does not need to be removed with this system. However, you do need to buy 4 new exhaust port gaskets from Honda; they don't come with it.

If you (or anyone) is interested, I am willing to sell. I just sold my old '83 vf750f so I don't need it.

I found a rusted out kerker 4 into 1 and had SPD exhaust (on the web) copy it for me, not cheap but only a little more the the rare nos systems that pop up on e-bay once in a while. I have a rusty old F1 4 into 2 system that could be copied.
