I have the answer. Buy a Ducati and ride it for 3 hours you will be in such pain and torment that when you get back on your VFR it will be the most comfortable bike ever made. good luck!

 

I found a set of 2006 black bags about a month ago. Got a great deal on them ($575 shipped).

The thumb and forefinger on my right hand go numb after a short period of riding. I've found that loosening the wrist strap on my glove and using a CrampBuster have helped. I also make sure I take frequent breaks. I just did a 4-day, 1700 mile trip using those techniques.
