I cut my teeth on a 50cc dirt bike, an XR80, a CR80, a Honda Shadow, and a V45 Magna (Dad's bikes) when I was younger...

The first bike I bought for myself was a 1994 GSXR750 (SQUID Days.)...

I was bikeless for about 11 or 12 years and bought an 06 VFR in May.

36 years old, married 8 years to a beautiful and very understanding, non-riding wife (not even on the back, despite the matching Shoei). We've got an 11 month old boy who is clearly above average and a foul-tempered tabby cat. I handle IT and accounting for our local Honda auto dealer.

I'm connected with Pioneer Hi-Bred Philippines, a Multi National Corporation based in Iowa, USA. as Credit & Collection Supervisor and at the same time, the Safety Leader for Luzon Operation. . Member of Dalton Free wheelers Riders Association and "LERAP" Law Enforcer Rider Association of the Philippines. Sometimes my wife get jealous because i spent more time with my bike VF750F than her.

-2 girls, Madelynn and Bethany (10 and 6), one boy, CJ, (2).

-one dog, a 6 yr old yellow lab named "Gracie".

-16 years in the Army, six as an enlisted man (all in Hawaii), and the rest as an Aeromedical Physican Assistant, currently working for a unit within US Army Special Forces Command at Fort Bragg, NC.

-'bout 10 years riding experience. First bike was a 1993 Kawi Ninja 250cc.

-All summed up, I am blessed way beyond that which I deserve.

 

36 years old, married for 5 years - wife learned to ride this past fall (she rides an 01 GS500), no kids though we plan on getting around to it before I am 40, 2 dogs, I make my living as a geologist.

I agree with SFPA in that I am blessed way beyond what I deserve.

59 years old, married for 5 years, riding for over 40 years, she rides a SilverWing scooter. Owned a '84 VF700 Interceptor, sold it to buy an "86 FJ 1200 (which I still own), but always wanted another Interceptor. Bought this '99 in '01 and just love it still.

37 yo, married, 2 sons, 1 dog (Scottish Terrier). Born in Quantico, VA, then raised in Louisiana.

Own and run a landscape company, but am about to get out of the biz to once again re-establish our professional house painting and trim business, especially now that the vast majority of out-of-state Hurricane Katrina contractors have left the region.

This bike is my first Honda Interceptor and I absolutely love this bike! No other riders in our family - that's too bad for them, they don't know what they're missing.

 

41 year old male. Married 12 years, two kids, 8 and 5. Grew up in MN, moved to AK for several years, met my wife, now live in Vancouver, WA. Work as an IT systems analyst. Started on Honda moped at 14, '82 Honda 500 Ascot at 16 (big ole single banger), '85 VF500F Interceptor at 19, no bike for several years after that one, then a '85 700 Magna, just got my '98 VFR this summer. Never ridden dirt bikes but would like to..also have never done a track day, but if they ever have one at Portland International Raceway, I'll be treating myself to a present.

 

52 years young. Married to same bride for +25 years. Two teenagers. Program manager for large R&D company. Started riding in my twenties. First bike was bought the same year that the first Alien movie premiered (1979)- a used 1975, Honda CB550F. Only one serious motorcycle accident. Have also owned a CB650 and a FZ700 in the past.

 

26, male, not married yet but will be within about a year. My girlfriend has a 6 year old girl who is very sweet. My girlfriend (36 years old) is a willing passenger and would like to learn to ride. I started riding in the spring of last year and now have about 8000 miles down. I keep trying to improve my skills and not just reinforce bad habits.

I race cars, teach advanced driving school, and work as a Billing Coordinator for a Fortune 500 insurance company. My first bike was a Vulcan 750, then an '06 Ninja 250 and a '98 Bandit 1200S. I still have the Ninja and Bandit. I'll be buying a RWB '07 with 0 miles on Thursday when it stops raining here. I have taken the day off Friday to start breaking it in.

I co-wrote a popular blog this summer about my friend and me riding Ninja 250s on a rain-soaked trip from Chattanooga, TN to Chicago and back.
