? ECM adjustable on 6th gen VFR ?

    Doe's anyone know if the ecm ( engine control module) can be adjusted richer or leaner on the VFR 's ?? If so a link to a how to do it yourself?

    There are no adjustments besides idle speed. Mixture and timing are set.

    The ECM can't be adjusted,but a power commander can be installed that gives you the ability to adjust the fuel mixture.

    You can tweak the mixture however you prefer through custom mapping. This is going to require a dyno, power commander, and (at least on 6 gens) an 02 sensor eliminator. I live in Denver and can tell you altitude is paramount to a custom map. The sensor eliminator is a must as well as the stock ecm will fight the pcIII rendering the power commander useless. In some cases you're even downgrading the bikes overall performance! The effort when properly done however, is worth every penny. The bike is transformed in every positive way you can imagine.
