I did a search, and didn't find anything. Has anyone out there used a different center stand on their VFR750? Honda cross-ref says it's only for 86-87 VFR700/750.

Anyone have an extra? (no laughing, please)

the upside == with enough measurements, a good machinist shouldnt have much of a problem replicating the centerstand for these bikes. its really just 4 tubes welded together with a couple of eyelets on the top, 2 feet on the bottom, another foot where you push down at, and a seperate tube that holds the stand on the bike (oh, and that darned spring that holds it up while riding).

the downside == welcome to one of the most sought after parts for a 1st gen VFR. theyre not easy to find, and theyre few and far between, but theyre out there of you're patient.

If I could find one, I'm sure I could find a sutible match.

The exhaust clamps must be the next most desirable part.

id imagine you could be able to find the clamps on powersportspro, com or servicehonda.com. have you tried either of those yet?

You lucky Dog. Yes I have one that you can purchase from me.

If you want it I will remove from bike it is on and ship it to you. your cost $50.00 shipped
they are available from several places; bikebandit.com, MRcycles.com
Send me a PM if you are interested.
And if you tell me which clamps you want I will throw them in the box for you as well for no additional charge.

just get a swingarm stand. problem solved.

How often would you put your bike on the centerstand unless you were at our own garage anyway???

in the paddock we would just lean the bike up against the wall. The swingarm stand was for wrenching between practice sessions. What's wrong with a sidestand unless you're doing maintenance?

theres nothing wrong with that at all....its really just a matter of personal preference. ive met people who dont even want a centerstand mounted on their bike cause they feel it takes away from the lean angle of the bike.

For doing maintenance, winter storage in the garage, and TDY's if I was leaving it in a parking lot on base. I've seen too many sidestands sink in hot asphalt.
