    Evening folks.

Did a fun run out to Penticton yesterday and returned today. For those of you south of the border (which includes myself for half the year) Penticton is in the interior of BC, and some of the roads out there, are epic to say the least. It was about 600 miles round trip, and my most epic ride to date.

I took a few pics, enjoy.

Packed up and ready to go in front of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains...aka my summer home.

Pemberton is about 30 minutes north of Whistler. For those that dont know, Pemberton just had a huge music festival, that attracted names like Coldplay and JayZ and 40,000 fans. It was set against these mountains.

This is Lillooet Lake, right before you climb about 4000 feet in all of 10 minutes over the Duffey on your way to Lillooet.

The Duffey gets its name from "Duffey Lake Road". Look it up and any motorcycle fan will tell you, its one of the best scenic rides to be found. Maybe cause you get views like this.

    And this.

And one of me for good measure

    Ok...one more

You eventually hit Lillooet, and get treated to a nice view of Seton Lake. (for those of you that are wondering where my rear luggage went...this photo was taken earlier in the year)

Heading out of Lillooet I decided to take Highway 12 to Lytton. Its a road that you do anywhere between 30 and 80mph, with lots of twists and turns. All single lane both directions for about 45 miles.
This is a common view along this road.

Out of Lytton, I then headed up to Spences Bridge. This was my favorite of the bunch, to where i only took one picture, cause I didnt want to get off the bike. Its single and dual lane, however it follows a massive river, and was a very cool experience.

I was fortunate enough to have ridden those very roads a few years ago while doing all the top B.C. roads listed in Destination Highways B.C. A group of us (both U.S. and Canadian) started the ride in eastern B.C., hit Lake Louise, the Icefields Parkway to Jasper, then worked our way westward to Whistler. A most memorable experience, for sure.

I've heard that the road surface of Duffy Lake Rd. has deteriorated somewhat since I visited in '04. True?

You are one very lucky guy to be able to spend half your time in paradise.

For those of you who have not yet visited B.C., it should be high on your to-do list, as in #1. Fabulous riding, scenery and friendly people.
