Need to replace the oil pan gasket on my 1986 VF500F and the Clymer doesn't have torque specifications for the oil pan bolts. Can someone with the factory service manual help me out? Thanks!

    Hey Twisted,
I checked the factory manual and the only section that refers to the oil pan simply says: "Install the oil pan."
The manual does give some standard torque specs:
    For a 5mm bolt, 3-4 ft-lb
    For a 6mm bolt, 6-9 ft-lb.
No idea what size the bolts are though.
    Hope this helps.
