Hey Boys n Girls, Dean here from Brisbane, Australia. Just stumbled accross these forums. Good to see. I have an 06 VFR800. It was actually my fathers which he bought new. I bought it off him last year and I am loving it. Its my daily ride and I am currently riding to work in winter. It is cold but I'll make it through. :strong: Anyway heres some pictures:
Hi Dean welcome to VFRWorld. It's nice colour that Candy metallic Red just saw one go by me the other day aglow from a setting sun. Any reason your father chose the maroon for his new VFR ? PS:- By any chance does that sign behind says Pies & Tarts ?
Gidday back atcha mate! Hello and welcome to the nuthouse! Glad to have ya! Plenty of down under members on here! Love your Metallic Candy Red.
Thanks guys. Dad chose the maroon because he has always liked that colour on a bike. I think that sign says "Pies & Takeaway".
Thats funny when I bought my previous 6th Gen new in '03 I chose metallic Blue because I really liked the VFR in that colour. As great a site as VFRWorld is you may also like to check out " OzVFR.net " as well for local rides and stuff.
Welcome to the group. Hope you get lots of good riding weather down there. I think, imo, that the Candy Red is the best looking red Honda has ever painted one of their bikes. :thumb:
Welcome, beautiful bike!! You are in good company here with several other Australians on the site. Stick around and enjoy what we have to offer!
Thanks guys. Yeh, I know what a Sasquatch is. ha ha... The signal switch is on the left hand side on bikes.
