My fellow VFR riders...our travels together must now come to an end. I'm selling my 6th gen VFR. I recently acquired an 07' Yamaha R1. I know...I know...I know....a brute's bike. A squid's bike, one might say.

*sigh* What can I say...I rode a friend's GSX-R1000 and I was instantly addicted. The lighter weight, the flickability, the absolute presence of power EVERYWHERE in the powerband, the pure sex-appeal (girls LOVE this bike), and the sound. Have you ever heard one of these at 11k RPM? Go to youtube.com and start looking...it'll make the hair stand up on the back of yer neck, son.

I will always hold a soft spot in my heart for my Viffer. But, I'm 28, single, with no kids...I'm allowed to be unhinged. The R1 is more my speed (literally). The R1 is more unhinged. The VFR is definitely more comfortable and usable. But, it's too darn heavy and the VTEC is annoying.

So, with a heavy heart I bid you all farewell. This will be one of my last posts. So, if you see a black and red R1 whose rider is waving at cruisers and sportbikes alike...wave back...it might be me. :)

    Happy Trails.

I suppose that is true...it's just less dramatic. Shorty, you're ruining my memorable departure. *sigh*

Don't be fooled by the sound of an inline 4, it won't last long, you'll be back, but in the mean time have fun while ya can..
