Does anyone know the difference between the regular power commander and the new power commander ex they have out? I am looking for my first mods and a power commander and K&N filter look like a good place to start.
I believe the new EX version is a California legal version... not just a "race only" version like the others. I think but am not sure that it operates the same as the PCIII which alters the signal from the ECU. The PCII alters the signal before the ECU. The EX maps are in a different format however but will auto convert PCIII maps if used.
