so i found a 01 vfr800 in oklahoma for $1100 that was wrecked and had 9k on it. it looked rebuildable, so i jumped on it. ends up this is what needed replaced: forks, front axle, triple tree clamps, and one front brake rotor, and some fairings. Ebay became my new best friend. after everything was said and done, i have a total $1700 into my bike. So now im sportin a 01 vfr that looks as good as new. iv had 3 offers for it for 3k. it is cool to think i got this bike for so little and was able to turn it around for so little. i love my vfr!
