Anybody had the following issue after installing a Pazzo clutch lever? The bike will only start in neutral. I made sure the connectors were plugged in and even switched them around. still won't start in gear with the clutch lever pulled in. grrrrr

I can start in gear(stock levers) when the kickstand is not down. Dumb question is your kickstand down? Probably is but I just thought I would throw that out there.

been riding for over 40 years, so kickstand is up, but not a bad suggestion. most bikes will start in gear with kickstand up. something is not right with the Pazzo lever. i was hoping to hear from someone who has the levers to see if they had the same problem. it is a pain when you accidently kill it and have to find neutral before you can get her goin' again. probably will take the time to put the original back on and see what happens.

I had pazzo levers on my Vmax, the first ones I had were foxpecker pink and then I got the faster blue ones.

Remove the lever and then re-install it, making sure that the lever presses against the nuetral switch. It is easy to miss that when installing the lever. Go here: http://vfrworld.com/forums/body-modifications/4020-pazzo-lever-installation.html and scroll down to look at the clutch lever where I am installing the pushrod. The black piece the looks like a fat "L" pushes on the neutral switch. If this piece is not contacting that switch correctly, then the bike will only start in neutral. I am sorry I did not have any better pics of that switch. I hope this helps.
