    Hey all,

I'm currently a proud owner of a 05' Yamaha R6 (first bike.) Obviously, I enjoy riding a lot more than I originally thought I would and I've decided that I'd rather ride longer than an hour before my junk goes numb.

I was searching the net I really wanted something that looked really sporty, with some decent speed and the ability to attach sport touring accessories and I found the VFR800. I really like the way it looks, I can't wait to sit on one.

The picture that caught my eye and instantly converted me into a fan was this:

I'm wondering if anyone here knows this rider, his photobucket is "Keithaba" but there aren't any members here named that. Or, if you guys could try and identify the accessories he has, like his windshield, the packs he has on the sides, his seat, and if it looks like he painted the wheels or bought white rims.

I'm really excited to purchase a VFR, I got accepted for a larger loan and the guy that sold me my r6 wants to buy it back!

Don't know the guy, but I'll identify what I can:

The side cases are Honda OEM
Handlebar weights look to be Throttlemeister, which is a form of cruise control that locks the throttle.
Seat appears to be a Sargent
Wheels have been powder coated white

    Hope this helps

Awesome, so the wheels look stock to you, I doubt powder coating would cost much, I'm glad that's all that is.

I appreciate your response, if I purchase a vfr without the packs, and I obtain them afterwards do they come with brackets I can attach?

Yes, they come as a kit, with all mounts, brackets, bolts etc included. Bear in mind that currently some sidecase kits are hard to get in certain countries, depending on colours etc. But there are other threads on this site that discuss side bag availability in more detail. Ideally, see if you can get a bike that has the already fitted.
