How about someone posting the VIN of a red '07 VFR? That might answer some questions.

I was at a dealer asking about a RWB '07 last week. Dealer can still order them from the factory, in the crate. With ABS 11,299 OTD.

Although my original Honda press-fleet r/w/b Interceptor is nice, I'm kinda thinking about buying another 25th Anny and stashing it away in my garage. Maybe ride my press bike for a few more years and then sell it and have a fresh one lined up for occasional cruising over the next 20 years.

I stopped into a Honda dealer in Marina Del Rey today to look at a CRF50 dirt bike for my son and saw the same 25th Anny Intercepter (non ABS) lounging in the corner a year after I first saw it. They still want about $10.5K for it, but maybe a low-ball offer might make it mine.

Anybody else out there have a spare 25th Anny Interceptor stashed away for later use?

Having a "spare" RWB was an idea I had thought of, but it's a little pricey. I insted, try to keep the mileage down on the RWB by riding my other bikes. It would be fun to have a "beater" and a "keeper" RWB.

I bought mine with 803 miles on it. It came with a power commander, Remus full exhaust cat delete, blue hard bags factory, sargent seat, Throttle meister, Freddie Spencer signed seat cowl, clear bra, power outlet, Metzlers ran me $9000.00 + shipping which I arranged $825.00. Local dealer is asking $11099.00 OTD but I know you can get them off that #. Either way, I think I scored big time. I just registered it (finally) last Friday and the inspector didn't say a word about the exhaust or the fact that I rode it there on Utah tags. He did however give me a hard time about no side reflector amber frt and red rear. I didn't even notice they were missing. The PO must have ditched them yikes!! Anyway, It turned out the inspector was a biker and signed my VIN verification form anyhow. PHEW!! I thought for sure he was going to 'fail' me. Thankfully, I had 2.5 hrs waiting in line for my heart rate to come down:-(

Well boys and girls, bike 147, an ABS/RWB is sitting in the dealership in Columbus, OH.

As for a 2nd RWB, yea if I had the money I'd have 1 to ride and 1 to save, but I don't :( I suppose I could keep riding my 5th gen and park the RWB...nah that's not gonna happen :)

I ordered a '07 VFR800A RWB last Saturday, so as soon as it arrives I can post the VIN. I was quoted $10.2k for a non ABS; $10.8k for an ABS.

I recommend the abs version. the upcharge is worth it.

that's a nice combination: the viffer and that 230L.

    that's my next move.

    Good luck and ride safe.

Greetings...my first time on this site. I just bought a "leftover" 25th Anniversary VFR from my dealer down here in South Florida. I have only 120 miles on it. What a great bike! I too was wondering how many were produced. My dealer told me that they were available one per dealer (if they wanted one). How many Honda dealers are there in the USA? What about world-wide? Honda probably waited for dealer orders prior to starting production. I'll post more info as I get it. Unfortunately, the rainey season just started down here, and I won't be riding my VFR as much as I did on my recently traded in Kawasaki Ninja500...that was a great bike as well. I shoulda kept it, and bouight the VFR as well. Oh well, coulda, shoulda, woulda. Prior to 2005, the last time I rode was 1983 when I sold my beloved 1977 Suzuki GS750 with full Vetter fairing, lowers, and trunk. Where is that bike now? I lived in Bayside, Queens (215th street) at that time. My Suzi was mint when I sold it. Anyone have a lead on that bike? Can't wait to break my new bike in. Looks like 300 miles of conservative riding and then away I go.

Hi whatheheck? and [IMG] to the board! Sounds like a nice collection of bikes!

    I just picked up my '07 VFR800A RWB today, she's #0211

Yes this should make a nice combo with the 230L. There are some dirt/gravel roads around here, narrow twisty roads full of potholes and gravel, where the 230L is so light it zips right through. But for good 'ol pavement, well there is no comparison to the viffer, but they're different bikes made for different purposes. i.e. CRF230L=17HP, 07 VFR800A is what (dealer said 109HP?).

I ordered my VFR back in October of 2006 and my dealer also told me the same thing. Each dealer was guaranteed one unit if they wanted it. Orders had to be in by late October and after that, they could put in for whatever was left over. To be safe, I had mine ordered.

Back in 1992 I bought a brand new EX500 and I still say that it was a great bike. It had great low end torque and was fun to throw around. Since I'm a pack rat, I wish I still had it.

Just bought my anniversary edition yesterday, $9500 out the door, only 9 mi. on the ODO. Don't know the numbering scheme for the VIN, but my last 6 digits are 900453 so #453 maybe?

Now, if I can just get my '84 running again, I'll have my old red over white mistress, & my new blue over white mistress :^).

Greetings: This morning I checked the tag on my '07 25th Anniversary bike. My VIN number ends in 00013 and was manufactured in 10/06...also much to my surprise the first two letters of the VIN are JH which just happen to be my initials...whats the chances of that...especially as this bike sat on the dealers showroom floor for at least a year that I remember.

Sitting at the dealer across town is a brand new NON-ABS R/W/B the vin ends in 1047. They have had it sitting for over a year and they won't tell me a price without sitting down, running the credit, yada, yada, yada. All they will say is that they are willing to deal. I just want to know the price because I don't think it will be less than I paid for mine. lol

I stopped at Ray Laks in Lancaster NY and they had a '07 RWB on the floor. I should have written down the #.....I'm pretty sure it was 1383.
