Painted my carbs

    So, this might not be the best thing in the world to do. But I just got an 86 vf500f and cleaned and fixed the carbs. Since there was a lot of corrosion on the metal, I went ahead and painted them. Check it out at

    Just read your web page on the carb painting, sounds like you did it right. The paint job looks good! Does the bike run better now??

    The bike runs a lot better now.. its still just a little sluggish but I'm still working things out.
