Have you tried to download the 6th gen manual on here yet? Don't think there have been all that many changes. http://vfrworld.com/forums/parts-se...nloadable-parts-catalogs-service-manuals.html
MANY THANKS! Stupid question....can anyone explain the odometer reading chart on the maintenance guide in the manual... I know I'm missing something there..
Or if you register free at www.ahm-ownerlink.com you can download the owners manual there too. On the chart, the odometer readings are divided by 1000. i.e. the 0.6, 4, 8, etc. columns are 600, 4000, 8000 miles etc. Ditto the km values, 1.0, 6.4, 12.8 etc are 1000, 6400, 12800 and so on.
is that the 07 chart??? The one in the pdf I dloaded is different. thanks for the read schooling. much appreciated.
That's from the '07 VFR800A owners manual I donwloaded from ahm-ownerlink a few weeks ago. Maybe Canadian spec has a different manual or something?
I would sure love a copy of that...them fellars at the ahm-ownerlink don't let the canadian vins in or something. I tried to set up there to get the manual and it would not accept the vin number.. I think this is the correct schedule, simply because it makes sense....unlike that thing in the pdf I dloaded.. how big is the manual??
Hm, I downloaded the PDF without entering the VIN#; it said it was optional to enter the VIN. You should be able to download it from this link; actually I haev tried 'altering' the link with different model years and such and usually it will get you that manual: It's about 4MB. https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/assets/OWNERLINK/model/own_man/powersports/2007/2007_VFR800_A.pdf Note this is the manual it gave me when I entered my year, model # etc., for U.S.; it might not apply to yours. If link above doesn't work, I put it up here temporarily: http://www.porcupine73.com/honda-vfr800a/2007_VFR800_A-Owners-Manual.pdf
