Hello all. First post for me here

Quick background. I'm 27, 6'2" and 210lbs. I rode a CBR 600 for a while, and got rid of it because it was just to small and cramped. My buddy has a '07 VFR 50th ann. that I really like. I found this bike at the local BMW dealer, and wanted to know what you all think?

2004 VFR ABS, Silver, 14K miles. Very clean, one tiny scuff on the left fairing. Dealer had it listed for $7700, and says he will do 7250+TTL.

Is that pretty fair? Do you think there is room to work on that price? I really like the bike, but of course did not let on....

Thanks! Even if this is not the one, I don't doubt that I will have a VFR soon....

    TOOOOOO MUCCCHHHHH!!!!

I paid $5300 for my 04, it needed tires and a good wash.
Look in the classifieds, I think somebody has a 06 VFR black for about $7k

That price looks too high to me. In 2006 I bought a new zero miles 04 non ABS for $7500. I think that dealer has a lot of room to move ... down it price.

Way over priced, hes making some money if it was traded. Retail by kelly blue book is 6800 and I wouldnt even pay that. Out dated motorcycle, new ones usually get leftover. I was going to buy a brand new 2006 for 8k out the door. Its worth maybe 5800-6200 IMO, if its spotless.

It seem to be high. You might want to look around some more. I bought my brand new in 06 with hard bags and 5 years unlimited miles warranty $11,000 OTD. It sound to much but I like the bike and I am the first owner. Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will try to bring them down a bit, if not, I did find a few others within ~100 miles that are more attractively priced.

ABS model is going to be more money of course...but it sounds like a fair dealer price for a clean low mileage unit. I think you need to ask yourself...do you really need ABS? If not....then look for a non-ABS model. Also..I think you mean 25th anniversary edition...right?

Found mine on craigslist. '04 non ABS, very clean with 2100 miles for $6K. I'm a big believer in craigslist.
