I have a freind who was touching up the paint on my bike and he offered to repaint the entire bike and fix any blemishes in any color I wanted. (This winter when bike is done for the year.) I have 1995 4th gen RED. My freind mentioned I could change the color to a black or a black pearl or whatever.

My question is would any of you, if you could, change the color of your VFR?

I might change mine.... Since I am past the "crap am I gonna drop it?!" stage I want to repaint my bike. I think I will stick with RWB though, just use better paint.

If I did it would be the 2007 red - I think its a beautiful color. But for now, the current
"give me a ticket" red is fine.

I know it is no classic "yet", but is repainting a bike the same as a car? What I mean is, if you had a 1969 Mustang GT500 with original paint, I know I would not repaint it, would loose alot of value. Does the bike loose some of its value or flair if repainted?

I have thought about changing the color on my '07 but the candy red looks pretty good. I am having some dragons and flames air brushed on top of it, mainly to hide the scratches. I hope to get it back this week.
If I were to change it I would probably paint it black, maybe flat black.
