Petcock is out. What can I do?

So while my tank is out for repair I have this old, dilapitated Petcock sitting around.

Is there anything I can do with it? Rebuild it?

There's that conversion that makes it Gravity fed instead of Vacuum...is that worth it?

Looks like the Little handle is custom made and the disc that covers everything is missing.

 

According to this Diagram...I'm missing no. 14

The previous owner McGuivered something to work in there.
