This is a 1971 CB500 which I am almost done with, I bought it for $200 in sad shape, Engine Mods: CB650 cams CB550 max over bore pistions, CB750 Cabs, electronic ingnition and high output coils, under cut trans gears, ported & polished, five angle CNC valve job. The frame is powder coated, alloy rims whith HB spokes, and other mods, the paint is the last thing I did and rhe retro wing was hard to find (let me know if you have been looking for one). My VFR is in the background so this is on topic. JIM

Looking good. I love the early 70's Honda 4's. It needs the chrome front fender. I still want a pristine CB750K in orange or gold.

    KC-10 FE out...

Looks great. Gotta love the retro bikes. I'm in the final stages of reassembling my '73 Yamaha TX-750 which I did some work on. More this winter...

Beautiful... I'm toying with the idea of a cafe racer project to work on with my son this winter.

Nice! I like the dual discs and the original exhaust, and the two color paint. Are those Dunlop K81's?

Yes they are K81s and as to a project bike these are good because you can get them cheep and parts are not a problem (well some can be).
