    * UPDATED* (lower price)Vfr Engraved Master Cylinder Covers, I want to see if there is any interest in these

    *updated*

I am 21 and attending college to be a mechanical engineer, I have an internship at a machine shop over the summer, and my boss wanted me to try market a part, make it, and then sell it. My idea to him was to make the brake and clutch reservoir caps to replace the ones that have all the chinese written on them. I would make them the exact same size as the old ones, but it would have VFR written in the same font as the graphics in the middle. The pair would be available in raw aluminum so you could polish it yourself for **$20 or anodized black for ***$30. If there is enough interest, like say ten pairs it will definetely happen!! I dont have access to a 6th gen, so I am not sure if they would work on that gen. So if your interested we can just make a list on this post and I can keep track, the more people that get them, the cheaper they will be!

I will post pics of them before I would ask for a commitment to buy, but don't put your name on the list unless you are serious.

I pretty much got kicked off VFRD for posting this, and I made a mistake quoting the part, they will be cheaper than originally thought as shown above.

    I would take a set.

I'd just have to decide on color. Very cool idea, I think your project would surely be a success.

I'd definitely be in for a set - probably black powdercoated. Unless you do a run of anodized purple... I've always had a thing for purple ano...

I think anodized would be a better option that any sort of paint, as anodizing is a more chemical, temperature and oxidation resistant finish with better aesthetic qualities.

My .02, not that it's worth much.

That interesting - they selectively enforce the "rules". I have seen other stuff get marketed/sold over there, mirror blocks for the Suzuki turn signal mirrors come to mind. I know I have seen other stuff too.
