I just got a new set of RoadSmarts for my ride. Normally (at least in my experience), the directional pattern on a tire points forward when viewed from the top of the tire. In this case, the directional arrows on the front tire would have me mount the tire so the pattern points opposite (backward). The rear tire seems normal: the directional tread will be pointed forward.

Do some tires go against the norm and point backwards? Did they mold the arrow the wrong way?

Do any of you have RoadSmarts? Which way do your tires point?

There in arrow no the sidewall that points in the direction of rotation. How do I know? I just put a set on my R6S.

From sitting on the bike look on the front right side of the wheel and the directional arrow should be located there on the spokes and the tread pattern is backwards of the rear tire.
I just had a set mounted on my 96 vfr about 2 weeks ago. Good luck hope this helps.:team2:

yes trout....it threw me off when I had some Metzler M1's as well, I thought they mounted the tire backwards, until I looked at the arrow.
