clutch lever snaped off

    i recently bought a 98 vfr and a couple days ago i pulled into a parking spot in 2nd and stalled and low sided the bike the clutch lever snaped off and the turn signal got pushed in and broke the tabs i was woundering how to install the new lever i dont know anything about these wet clutchs and where can i find a seat cover thing for the back seat any help would be appreciated and cheap leftside replacment plastics i checked ebay coulndt find anything.

    Ok, first off periods are your friend, it would make your post easier to read. Now that I'm done being pedantic...

    I only know how to install a new lever on a 6th gen, not a 5th gen, sorry. They are different too, at least I assume so from the different part numbers when I look them up. There's a seat cowl on ebay right now for your generation VFR, I saw it last night when I was looking up a new clutch cover for mine.

    EDIT: I looked for it, it must have sold today, there's only a 6th gen on there now. But yeah it's called a seat cowl.

    The clutch lever is pretty easy to install. Just remove the bolt, take off the old lever, put the pushrod in the new lever and place the lever in the perch and put the bolt in. Here is a link to where I installed my pazzo levers. The clutch on yours should be similar.

    Keep in mind, the pazzo lever is a bit different from your OEM, but installation of a new lever should be similar in nature.
