Hey guys I'm new to this forum and figured I would say hello to fellow VFR owners! So here is a little about me:
I am not a new rider, I have owned 3 other bikes over the years one was a VFR and it left such an impression on me I had to get a new one! My previous bikes were a 98 SRAD GSXR 750, 01 R6, and most recently 91 VFR. I live in Tucson Az and am a network engineer.

I hope to get to know you guys and hopefully meet some other riders in the Tucson area! I was @ the cow palace at the I-19 side of arivaca Saturday 21st in the morning and saw 2 sixth gen VFR's go by, one RWB and the other was red. The red one had a passenger, did I spot a member of this board?

Anyways so far what I have read on the forums has been excellent and I hope to contribute any way I can!

Hey Sharpie, that was me and Greg, he had his daughter with him. I do Arivaca quite a bit, and sometimes make the south loop with a detour out to Pena Blanca Lake.

This is a great board, theres a couple others that you may want to check out also, tucsonsportbikes, and vfrd.

Both those have alot of local rides posted, and hope I didnt offend anyone here by posting them.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome!

Cruzinaz, nice to see some more VFR's around, I know when I last rode my 91 in 2001 it was rare to see any VFR's in the Tucson area. I also have been lurking around tsb but just haven't signed up yet.

tsb is a great local site, but not geared to vfr's, alot of good people and rides tho.
This site and the "other" vfr site are the places to get upgrade, maintenance, mods info,, etc....

Shoot me a PM if ya want and we'll get out for a ride, and you can meet some of the other nutcases in the area.

BTW, checked your profile, get ready to ride with old guys!

    How old we talking....................

Seriously tho, I cut my teeth with 50 somethings that had been riding since I was riding a big wheel.....some of the fastest guys I have ever ridden with, and not the stupid irresponsible fast that I see so often with 20 something riders.
