I worked with a Ks Highway Patrolman who's name was Weed. Funny thing was he was the Drug Recognition Expert Trainer.

In Kansas it's called 'ditch weed' cuz it grows everywhere wild.

Kansas? Always wanted to visit there.

I had a co-worker whose truck license plate was "ITS 420"
I didn't know what it meant and he gave me some :bs: about it being about a 420 equipped car he once had. Yeah sure! I later found out what that expression means to kids nowadays. (I just found out what "Green Day" means too.)
Things were simpler when I was young!

Kansas is supposed to mean something like "people of the south wind." When I bicycled across Kansas I planned on east-west, but the wind was so nasty I went from the south west to the north east. Tail winds are good things.

My username is a pun on my real name: Ed Reilly.

Yeah, but you don't want to be smokin that stuff! I grew up in Iowa and it grows along the fences of the cornfields. I would assume, like in Iowa, that that ditchweed is leftover hemp from hemp producing farms during WWII. The hard-up stoners would try to smoke that crap and end up with nothing more than a bad headache and burnt lungs. LOL

    These are all interesting.

I came up with mine because of how I do shading when I draw. I used to draw a lot, though I don't so much anymore. I would use tiny ellipses with my graphite pencils, before I'd smooth them out. Boring, I know, but that's where it's from.

    Sheesh, don't I feel silly.

I picked my name out of thin air. I always liked the Escape from NY movies, with the hero "Snake Plisskin". I've joined a few other forums (fishing, bass boats, etc.) and I used Pliskin on those as well, so I thought it would be easy to remember.

As I get older, its important to not mix things up. Keep it simple...

Hard to believe I'm paying for a kid in college and my forum name is based on a fictional Hollywood movie character.

I got a bottle of that stuff while I was there as well... drank most of it watching the Superbowl at 9am in the morning, (Steelers/Seahawks) the best part of the game was the Australian announcers - they were hysterical.

Some very clever and creative user names around here!

Mine, well, my mom wanted to name me Rebecca, but I was born on my aunt Sandee's birthday . . . so my folks named me after my aunt. "becca" is the user name I chose for a site I joined several years ago and it has kinda stuck with me. Easy to remember!

Mine is pretty self-explanatory.. I just bought a 98 VFR that was custom painted green. Plus, I am trying to make a break from my usual screen names as I have decided it just does not do it for me anymore...

My lady started calling me tsunami tommy one day. Her explanation is "you arrive without warning, f*&# sh@! up and leave a big mess to be cleaned up." I do believe that shes reffering to whenever I return from the field and promptly dump all my gear on the living room floor where it sits for two weeks.

Does you're wife know my wife, because mine says something very similiar about me!!! She tells me that I'd make one hell of a pilot, as I pile stuff here, there and anywhere that I feel...although her words aren't quite as nice, she says that I'm just as messy as our kids and need just as much looking after...I don't deny any of it either!!!

We all know Murphy's Law which states 1. If it can go wrong, it will 2. It will happen at the worst possible time. I used to work with a courier company in Seattle and this was(still is) my trade name. Murphyslawyer is me and in a nutshell, I plan things out at least six steps ahead. Hell, I don't tie my shoes without a backup plan. Murphy's Law IS the law. Some say no, but the next time something goes wrong...

No, just a regular grabber blue fastback with 5.0/T5. It would be a crime to mess up a boss, but I would love to have one.

Back in the mid 70's I was one of the few people in my area that would scuba dive for dead bodies. Being a member of the EMS and Rescue Squad I was given the name "Muff Diver" and it stuck. I have been called Muff over half my life.
