Hey guys, I'm thinking I want my bike to sound a little more exciting, but I can't find any aftermarket exhaust parts for this bike anywhere!

I've been searching on the internet for like a week, but I haven't found anything for a VFR older than a '94.

Do you guys know if exhausts for this model even exist?

    Thanks a lot!

Sorry man, you are hosed. The last things to dry up were the slip-ons. That's ok because those typically cause a hp or two decrease in power anyway. You best bet is to try and find a used Hindle 4-1. Good luck with that as there are many other guys looking for the same thing.

Well that's weak... But I was beginning to figure that out anyway.

I might grab an extra pair of stock mufflers and see if I can do anything with them, but that still wouldn't be as good.

I have heard of some people getting just pipes and having the conversion piece fabbed up at the local exhaust shop. But thats all I have found so far

Take any muffler you want that will work on a Hawk GT or SV-650 & head to the local muffler or hot rod shop. Point at the bike & muffler & tell them, "I want that to fit on that on the right side". Any decent muffler shop with experience in stainless steel should be able to make some tubing to fit & then you simply need to worry about mounting the muffler to the swing arm. You might need to shorten the muffler but that is relatively easy to do.

If someone can mount a Flowmaster onto a Buell (yes, I have seen it up close), they sould be able to make it work on a Miniceptor.

Considering that's where it's secured now, I don't see what other choice he has.

You're right I totally dropped the ball there. Passenger foot pegs most likely.

Is this link still going? I would get a caliper/tape measure and find out what the diameter of the pipe is and then start measuring you buddys pipes starting with bikes of similar displacement. Find the one you like head for the muffler shop then either adjust you mid pipe or replace it with a custom piece most companys sell clamps for there mufflers if you wand high mount mount it to you subframe or go to your stock location.
