yodasmile Ok guys. I know that some of you take long rides, or just play safe while riding the VFR's. I took some time to make and emergency kit for my precious. I took some pics of the emergency kit and where I placed it. Here is the content of the emergency kit:

    - First Aid Kit
    - Biker's best friend... Zip ties
    - A flashlight
    - Wire jumpers(can be used on multiple ways to include jump start a buddy's bike)
    - Fuses
    - Hose claps of different sizes
    - Alumaseal powder(Good for radiator leaks)
    - A 3" bar of mighty putty(This is the car type, good to plug leaks on gastank, radiator, oilpan, etc.)
    - Duct tape rolled around the putty roll
    - An Emergency poncho
    - A soldier's best friend, A Gerber (Multi-tool)
    - A motorcycle tire plug kit

I ordered a Blackburn Airfix CO2 inflator, It only uses 4 cartridges per tire. Quick fillup and cartridges are cheap at any walmart. Plus this particular inflator has several allen wrenches attached to it. I know I'll probably missing some stuff but i think that I'll be ok with what I got.

As far as to where I put all that stuff, I read that there's a space available next to the battery. On 6th Gen's with ABS, this space is not available cuz the ABS system is located there. To access this area, you only have to remove the 2 front clips and swing the black trim up. Here are some pics.

Nice work Yoda! I have a med kit in my backpack, but I have a emergency tire CO2 repair kit under my seat, along with a disc lock.

    My kit is pretty simple:

Unless I'm touring, then I could probably do a full bike rebuild on the side of the road.

Looks like a good place to put the kit on a 6th gen. I was thinking of doing something simular on mine. For now have everything under the seat. The first aid stuff in my tank bag.
