    :confused:Hello all,
I recently bought an 07 RWB. Have been trying to get a set of the blue hard bags. From what I understand from inside info, they are not, and will not be available for maybe another year. Honda is looking fo a different manufacturer, other than Givi. They are all on backorder, and you have to shell out the bucks, to get on the list. Has anyone heard any more about this? and / or, does anyone know where I can score a set of bags?

I got mine from the dealer a week after I took delivery of my bike. They are the blue ones. NO problems. but that was last Memorial day. I can highly recommend them, and would be somewhat less exicited if they were not Givi bags. - Paul

I don't know. I tried service honda after I saw your intro message but couldn't find them. I then tried a google search but found nothing easily. That's as far as I got in the quest.

I also have an 07' RWB. I just ...and I mean just bought a set of blue saddlebags and top rack from a dealer in the UK. The shipping was high but in the end I still saved a pile of money and I got honda oem bags that match my bike.

I'm not sure if you've tried here yet; I ordered mine (blue) in Jan. Not the cheapest that I've heard of but still cheaper than the dealer, even with shipping.

Sorry, 84cb700sc......didn't realize it was the same link until after I had posted. But I will second the suggestion....no problems with getting my bags and good relations with the c/s!!

This is the place I tried, because price was right. They are the ones that gave me the scoop. I also tried multiple others. Seems they are out, and on backorder for who knows.
    Thanks

Just buy used and have the bags repainted. I had all my bags repainted to Pearl Spencer Blue for $150.00.

    Here's a couple pictures.

I actually didn't have the color code. I took the bike to a local paint and body shop and they matched up the paint. For what I spent, I can't really complain. The color of the bags look to be a very good match to the bike.

Whats wrong with buying GIVI hard bags with the brackets and / or a topcase and brackets? Are the stock ones that much nicer/ cleaner looking? I was thinking about a V46 top case and V35 side cases. I can get all the cases, mounting brackets, backrest, and insert soft bags for right @ $1200 delivered. It seems such a better deal than $1k for just the side bags from Honda. Thoughts?

Hi, I just got a '07 VFR800A RWB. I ordered a set of blue hard bags about a week ago from hondaparts-direct.com and I just received confirmation that they've shipped. I put a note in my order for them to contact me if they were out of stock for more than a couple weeks, but apparantly they either had a set in stock or were able to get them.

I hadn't found that site yet. I'll give them a call in the morning. Maybe it's just the red bags that are unavailable (although when I called American Honda's customer service line today I don't think I said which color bags I was looking for).

Hm interesting. Yes all I can find is Interceptor® Sport Touring Trunk - Gloss Black
Fits '02-'08 models 08L55-MCW-120A. It seems I've seen photos on here of 6th gens with a blue trunk though....but maybe they had them repainted.

FYI, I just posted a set of blue saddlebags on the classifieds

If you're still looking, please, check the classified section, I'm selling the brand new set of blue saddlebags that I ordered for my 2007 anniversary edition.

I explained that in the ad, but basically... I just bought the bike brand new two weeks ago with plans to ride long distance. I've since found that my hands go numb after about a 1/2 hour of riding as they have been doing recently at certain times.

I don't know if it's nerve damage form playing video games, from repeated motions at past jobs, typiing, or what, but it's not good and I definitely won't be able to jump on the bike for a few hour cruise and overnight travel.

If you have any suggestions about the numbness I'm open to that but still I'm liquidating the bags which are new in the box and looking for a staintune exhaust :)
