Anyone know where I can get a copy of my bike key made. It only came with one and I want to get a spare just in case. I've tried a few of the usual places (Home Depot, PepBoys, my local Honda dealer) but nobody carries the right size blank.

    Any ideas ?

I had that same problem. I've heard motorcycle keys are a little more pricey than usual keys, but that might just be :bs:

Instead, I just bought a cheap alarm off ebay for $20 that came with 2 key blanks for the bike. It uses the fobs that have flip-out keys... press a button and the key flips out...I thought it was pretty cool... others may not, oh well. I took those blanks to True Value and had them cut for free. I plan to install the alarm, but if I don't, I have two extra sets of keys.

My other plan was to go to the dealership... thought they would be pretty expensive there. Guess that really wasn't a good option hearing the trouble you have had.

    Just a thought...

i had the same problem and even the one that came with mine was bent a little and i finally figured out why it keeps bending... stinking fuel lock for some reason. but anyways i had to get a blank from the dealership and then i went and had a spare key cut. they were nice and just gave me a blank and it cost me $2 to get it cut

You should be able to at least order a correct blank from the dealer. As long as you have the original key, which will have a number stamped in it usually, you can go have the key cut at a locksmith's shop. A locksmith may even be able to get a correct blank.
