    As you can see from the attached picture, I need to get the lower right fairing that covers the exhaust.

    My registration papers claim the bike is a 95-model, but from pictures I have found on the net it looks more like a 90-93. However, I have not yet succeeded in finding a bike with the same color-combination, and therefore I have no idea what model, it is, what color-scheme I need to get the part in, and what part number I'm looking for. Can you help?

    You will find the answer here:

    VFR750 (RC36) Model Info

    The colour you need for the lower cowl is NH-295M (Sparkling Silver Metallic)

    The rest of the bodywork is pure red, code R-158

    You appear to have bought a European or Australian model VFR 750FP?

    Take down your VIN number from the steering stem. It's 17 digits, the tenth of which will tell you what year your bike is. Also, there should be a white sticker under the seat that has the words "color" and "code" on it along with some numbers. Take that information to a dealer and they can tell you what you have and what Honda calls the colors.

    What he said above, with a little help:

    10th digit of VIN -

    L = 1990
    M = 1991
    N = 1992
    P = 1993

    You certainly have a 3G VFR (probably gray market, from the looks of it), and I think that the white wheels were only available in '92 and '93... Not sure, though.

    It is a 3rd gen VFR. It has that distinctive frame. I am not sure what year the white wheels were available, except for 93 of course, but I was thinking 1990 model had them but it could have been a 91 or 92 model. I would have thought the frame tag would have said 1993 on it. I don't remember if mine did or not.

    Thank you all!

    Of course, the sparkling silver lower right cowl is nowhere to be found. I guess i'll just have to watch ebay...

    That's probably an aftermarket paint job, or a cowl from a non-US VFR. I have never seen that particular color as well as the US VFR's were pretty much a single color paint scheme, with the exception of the 07 25th Aniversary, and the 50th (?) Honda aniversary edition, which ever year that was.
