Initially I'd be interested in the next generation VFR. After that I'd be looking into the C-14- the more I ride the further I like to go...

Yikes - I hope it wasn't a bad omen and I'm glad that you were able to walk away okay.

I have a good buddy with a blue 08 KLR (take a look at my pics). He loves it and it seems to be just as capable off road as on the pavement. Just don't expect it to be super smooth like a VFR since it has a thumper.

Forgot to add that there are lots of farkles available for the 08s now -

It'll be yet another Interceptor. I guess I'm just narrow minded.

Another VFR, of course! After I pulled an idiotic trade of my 5th gen VFR for a 919 Hornet, I realized the VFR is the perfect sport bike for me. Too late now. The salesman who took the Interceptor in trade ended up buying it!

    Tough questoin.......
The VFR is the perfect bike for me and I just can't find anything better to lust after..
Rode the concourse 1400 and it was nice but didn't really pull like I thought it would.
Rode the B-King and it was fast but UGLY and no wind protection.
Demo rode GSXR 750 and power was nice but ergo's were not.
Tried the ZZR 1200 and LOVED it but it sold while I hummed and hawed....(and NO abs)
    FJR is just too big.
When I get back on my VFR after looking at others its like DAAAAMN this bike is right on....perfect.
Can ride her 600km for a burger in comfort and scrape the pegs on the way!!!!!!
When I look at other bikes,I always leave them feeling confirmed that I already have the BEST!

I'll be buying a Road King Custom - that's a Harley - next summer. The VFR - might be sold by then, or I might just keep her. Ya never know. But, I'm having difficulty letting her go.....she's been a good ride.

Don't hold your breath too long. Honda's still long overdue on the next-gen Blackbird. Check out there sportbike line, it's thinned out to next to nothing... They've have problems and will definitely be tightening things up financially for a while.

My next bike will be a another VFR most likely. The salvage company came and picked up my smashed baby Friday. I'm going to try and call them about buying my headers back because I may be getting another fifth gen.

Presently I am shopping around for a track bike. I would love to be able to get a 2007 Kawi ZX6R or a leftover Honda CBR 600Fi for the track and some street riding. Next is upgrading to a new VFR for me to tour on. At the end of the season or during the Winter I will be looking to pick up a leftover VFR (there are shops that have 2006 and 2007 leftovers now) and sadly trade or sell my 2k VFR. I still have my old 83 GoldWing, but it is just too much work trying to keep it on the road and find parts or even get work done on it. I will probably part the bike out and use the cash to help me upgrade to a new VFR.

I am getting closer to new bike. Talked to a friend of mine yesterday who is going through a divorce and he's going to sell me his 01. I know about the bike and he'll stand behind the deal. So, I am feeling a little bit of relief. Now I need to really find my old bike and get the headers back.

I'll be keeping the VFR for along time, pretty hard to beat, comfy and fast enough to get in trouble easily.

    If I fell in a bucket of $$$...KTM RC8

I'm split between the following 3 bikes.....RC-51, or Suzuki GSXR-750, both set us as dedicated track day bikes, or a Duc 1098S in black. Honestly I really don't know which of the three I'd get, although I do plan on getting a new bike within the next 2 years. I'm going to keep my VFR, as it's just a good all around bike.

I really would like a KTM Super Duke, but @ 14,500, it will be a while. I'm also looking foward to seeing the new KTM RC8. If its larger than the current liter bikes I may have to sell a kidney or something.

something without cam gear whine, lol. but just as much fun, and with a little more aftermarket support. But it has to be V4! which is the hard part.
