    Hi Guys

Relatively new here. I've been poking around the site and found lots of good info.

I am going today to close a deal on an new '06 that the dealer is willing to discount.

I have really enjoyed the vast info on exhaust slip ons and sound clips.

I was looking for a recommendation as to a supplier that some of you have used. I couldn't find what I was looking for when I did a search. Is there a board sponsor that you guys would recommend?

I am leaning towards the Staintune or Remus.

I want something with a deeper tone to it but without the obnoxious drone you sometimes get at highway speeds.

    any suggestions?

    Thanks
Your pic gallery was useful as the bike I'm interested in is white as well.

I have been assured that the white ones have an extra 10hp.
    It's a well known fact.:ncb:

    Remus

    Hey!

I'm also pretty new hear and did some research particular about REMUS cans.
My buddy just bought a system for his bike and it's exactly what I want my bike to sound like. A very nice deep growl - no obnoxious screaming loud sound.
He bought it from Maxmoto in California. I think they are the distributer of REMUS.
    I found this picture!

    Good luck

    Nice
That's what I'm looking for a nice deep tone.
How are they at highway speeds?

I found the link on youtube.
Maxmoto says they just come in flat black or titanium. No carbon fibre.

    Remus

    Here some more information:
-you gain around 7 hp (with the Slip-On system)
-they come with removable baffles (if you like it a little louder - you can take them out - up to you:)
-as far as i know the carbon fiber cans are turning kind of goldish after a while, that's why I think I'm gonna go with the Titanium although flat black sounds kind of nice with a white bike!

    Hope that helped:unsure:

    Remus

    Hey!

I just talked to Maxmoto again and they said that it might take a while until they get the Remus Carbon fiber cans in for the VFR.
I'm still thinking about getting the titanium or flat back instead:unsure:
The guys were very nice and offered me free shipping:biggrin:
Well, just wanted to keep you updated!

They also sent me a little Info file. Good luck

I don't know how but my dealer got me LV's for about $60 less than any of the websites I was looking at. You never know what to expect but I would ask your dealer. I like the Staintunes too, probably the best sound overall but big $$$. The Remus cans look great too. For some reason I always thought they were louder than most slip-ons. I've heard a few but never the Remus. Good luck with whatever you pick..... The VFR sounds great with pipes and you are saving some weight too!!!
