Was wondering if anyone here has saddles for their Interceptor and could point me in the right direction as to which ones work good.. or keys t hings I need to be looking for.. like.. what kind of attachments and what not. Thanx in advance guys.. this is my 1st bike so I dont have alot of info or knowledge myself

First of all, congrats on the bike. Bought my '85 VF500F about a month ago after riding cruisers for awhile and love it. Had leather bags on the last one and missed them right away. I bought a Cortech sport tail bag made by Tourmaster. They are available in black, blue, and my choice, red. You can get a laptop in it. I have room for a small lunch bag, bike cover (I work nights, I don't like dew in the am), and a couple other small items. There are matching saddlebags which the tailbag can connect to. The saddlebags run about $116-130, the tailbag about $60-70. They also have a couple tank bags to match. Red would look good on your bike too. Good luck on your search.

Your close enough, you may be interested in this. The Gilmore Car Museum near Kalamazoo Michigan has a vintage motorcycle show & swap meet Sunday,June 8th from 8am-4pm. $8.00 admission. I've been a couple times, its pretty nice. Check their website at Welcome to the Gilmore Car Museum.

Yes, thats the tailbag I have. I just bought the matching saddlebags on ebay. I'll let you know how they fit. It will be a few days.

yea those were the ones i figured he was talking about.. im looking at those and the interlocking tailbag.... i have lunch + lappy + any gear or tools i would want in there...

I jus picked up this jacket.. .. the jacket is awesome.. a heavy waterproof coat, a warm coat with adjustable airflow, and a lightweight windbreaker. The pocket right inside the zipper by your chest for mp3 player is badass. all the armor is removable as well making it ever more versatile. When you takeout the rain jacket, then remove the outer layer arms and upper back its all mesh..which makes it ultra cool even in the killer humidity.. im in love with it if you cant tell :strong: Joe Rocket Honda Interceptor Jacket - RevZilla Motorsports

Just got the matching saddlebags yesterday. They will not fit a VF500F with the stock turnsignals in the stock location. The lights need to be moved to the rear, or angled straight down. I'll probably buy aftermarket short stem lights and mount them near the license plate.

awww that sucks man.. i allready ordered them should be here friday :(

do you think I would be able to install aftermarket taillights ?.. im not real mechanincally inclined.. but i do assemble computers so i work with electronics n such.

total bummer.. but i have noticed that sometimes when i mount the bike i kick the tailights.. which are kinda floppy as is...

There are built in bungee cords with hooks on the bottom side of the bag. It fits pretty well, but I bought some sticky felt pads to put on the hooks where they touch the bodywork to prevent scratches.
