i would think the only one your going to find plugs for your grab rails is honda. unless someone wants to sell you theres (maybe you should post up a notice) have never installed mine. with OEM bags i probably never will. my seat cowl is doing the same thing so i don't use it any more problem solved

Wish I could help, but mine came with the plugs already installed, and I'm not removing my passenger pegs, so my preload adjuster stays where it is.

My bike came with the plugs. They should not be that expensive from the dealer. Wishfull thinking? My cowl is also rubbing grooves on the tail. I wonder how common this is?

As for the plates, go to your Honda dealer. They're inexpensive. Maybe 15 bucks a piece. No ABS here, and my cowl is not rubbin'.

My cowel was rubbing so I just added so thin weather strip to the underside of it to give it some protection. That solved my rubbing problems. As far as your other questions, I don't have the abs model so no help there and just go to the dealer to buy your plugs. Welcome to the forum, you will love your newish bike!

Ebay...ought to find you a set of plugs on the low-low...I went to wal-mart and bought the adhesive door foam to seal the doors in your house for 2 bucks...it doesnt leave a residue and can be torn off and replaced very easy...it solved the rubbing problem...this is the 2nd bike I have had to do that to...for the record..get the light gray colored type..the black will leave a mark on light color paint...

P.S. White is the fastest color!!!
