Has anyone painted the factory Exhaust black. I just got my 2003 VFR, the previous owner had put Yamaha R1 mufflers on it, the are black, he did a bad job off installing them.

I really like the way they look, very Stealthy. I am going back to stock exhaust and wanted to know if anyone has go this route. If anyone has painted the mulffers I would love to see pictures.

    Thanks

    Love this site.

This isn't my bike, just found it on a Google image search. The "stealth" look doesn't do it for me, but to each their own. You'll have to post up a pic of yours if you do it, I'd be curious to see it.

I'd be interested to see what it would look like as well. I would think that a product like Jet Hot (spelling?) would do the trick. I might have to look into this as well. I like the stealthy look. One of the new members from up north had a set of Staintunes that were anodized black, they were sharp. Either way good luck
