VF500F Transformed into a different bike.

THIS IS NOT MY BIKE OR VIDEO. I just snatched it from YouTube.com To share with everyone. I found it very helpful and answered many questions about fairings i have had. I think I might try to do this mod.

You do know SPEC II is still in business & makes the lower fairing that matches up to the stock upper (VF - 500's, 700's, 750's, & 1000's)to give the bike a full fairing:clap2: .
You can get it from them unpainted or they can ship painted to match the year of the bikes color.

That would be a cheaper & easier way to go.

 

What a terrible video. Kid needs to learn how to use a flash.

Should have brought the bike back to stock (1st picture), would have looked much better.

 

do you really think the original look is better? just curious and I agree on the flash.......................also I talked to a guy at spec2 and he didnt send me prices or pictures after I gave him my email address. I was unhappy with his business skills however I did hear his lower fairings were very nice and looked better than all others made... I think I will give him a ring tomorrow again.

 

OO, very interesting. Man, he got a free VF500F? The only way that could have gone any better would be if the original owners paid him to take it.

 

Well, maybe the tail section is a little better, but I am not a fan of desecration of any Honda RWB bike (even though the author of the video did not apparently do this).

 

Man, that's just awful...

 

They don't offer anything for the 1000 any more and the last update to the website was back in 1999.

 

I have the spec II on a 85 I don't know how good the pics are tho

Well, the last time I spoke to him (This year) he said he still has the molds & "will build the fairings after being paid", because of so many "I want a set & never paid for after making it, & he had to sell on e-bay (he hates doing that).

He was in a baaaaaad accident a few years back, & is unable to work a normal job do to his injuries, & does this on top of his Med soc sec payments he receives.
