    Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has a throttlemeister. If so, how do you like it? Is it hard to operate? Can you operate it with one hand? Are there any similar products on the market that I should consider?

I have a Throttlemeister and although I don't use it all that often, it does come in handy on long trips.

It's fairly easy to operate and I'm sure there are a few different techniques that are used.

    Here's what I do:
Pull clutch in and roll off throttle. Then twist TM knob counterclockwise just enough to grip the throttle. Roll on throttle to desired setting and twist knob tight to lock.

It's awkward the first couple of times, but comes pretty easily.

There are other options available, but I have no experience with them.

    Throttle Meister's rock!

I put one on my '04 VFR last month. I love it. Setting it up can be a little tricky especially if you don't read the instructions! Once set the operation is flawless.... I roll off the throttle, engage the Throttlemeister, roll back on the throttle to desired speed and relax my hand! You can still roll off the throttle with it engaged. I would recommend it for anyone that does long trips. Very high quality build........! This is no:bs:

Although I haven't used it much yet. This weekend and a trip to Dawson City, YT and I will be able to tell you more.
I have and have used a throttle rocker a bit, I was not very impressed by it, but others seem to like it allot.
Installing the throttlemeister was pretty easy to do myself, and I have virtually no mechanical skills at all.
I wasn't even able to get the oil filter off to change out when I changed my oil., but I would have had the throttlemeister in in 20 minutes or so if I hadn't had too many beers.

Not heard of those guys -- Throttle miester? Well first opinions - everbody got one. Its a high quality piece. Me? I dunno I have a hard time shelling out a hundred bucks when I found a 20 buck thingy will work just as well. And the action of the miester is just funky to me. The 20 buck job is natural, you just flip down the lock part with your thumb.
