    Hello I'm your latest newby to VFR World.

    I just picked up my 2004 VFR800 last week and have only gotten to ride her once (the trip home).
    Her name is "Charlotte" and she is matte black with a few bumps and bruises, but my hubby and I are working on sorting her out.

    "Charlotte" will be my third motorcylce, started with a Yamaha FZR600, then a Honda Bros 400 and now the VFR.

    Looking forward to getting lots of great info from you all and hopefully sourcing out some much need parts for my newest baby.

    Btw, I have to ask. Why is it women always have to name things? My wife does the same dam thing. She names everything! And I mean EVERYTHING! :wink: Just don't get it. :loco:

    Cool. I just bought one myself (04 Asphalt Black). I pick it up tomorrow. My first street bike was a 86 VFR 700 (Pearl White). Its nice to be back.

    I actually think that guys name machines more often then women....I think this is because when something goes wrong with it they have a name to curse out loud!!!

    That being said, having a name for a machine makes it more human like and therefore more loved!

    All my husband and my bikes and cars have had names, currently we have our Jetta " Betty", my husband's 2007 ZX14 "Raya" and my soon to be gone Honda Bros 400 "Russel" and of course the newbie to the family "Charlotte".
