Did everyone catch the "Smart Money" column in Motorcyclist last month showing the Gen5? "Buy it now or wallow in regret the rest of your life."
    I love that.

    Molsan,
I don't have the mag with me, but it said the Gen5 was arguably the best broadband sport bike ever built. Said the Gen6 was sexed up and dumbed down. Not sure how to take that. It was very short. I could scan it tomorrow.

"Arguably the best broadband sportbike of all time, Honda's fifth-generation VFR ruled from 1998 till it was replaced by the sexed-up, dumbed-down '02 Interceptor. Found a nice one? Buy it now or wallow in regret the rest of your life."

I kept that page  - if anyone would like a scan of it please PM me.....

I read that too - I missed out on a sweet 98 that a guy in Boulder sold for $3,700! I ended up buying a very clean 6-gen instead. So far, no wallowing in regret....

I also almost bought a 5th gen, but turns out the guy droped the bike and lied and the radiator cracked as well as other issues. Looked and sounded fine.

So far i love my 6th gen
