Just ordered the Givi for my Gen5 as well, looking forward to it. As for those stupid clips, I find the push pin type much better... you push in the center shaft to release it. I just took of the all the plastic, and could not remove any of those clips without breaking them... not going to use them again.

Those push pin type fasteners are good; my old VStrom had those and they are easy to undo, reset and position.
The crap modern Honda nonsense is just that: crap!
Honda - the way you manufacture modern bikes and the fairing connections is, in old school parlance,
    Shit!

LOL..... calm down... the pushpin type are used on Honda ST1300, etc. and Yamaha FJR's... and Yammy has a 1/4 turn release Phillips head type also that is handy. It was harder for me to find 6mm longer shaft push pin type for the two at the bottom nose where the two side fairings join... need more grip length there.

Took the bike for a spin and the Givi screen is superb; does a really great job in deflecting wind and making the VFR a very comfy place to be at speed.
The engine sounds even better as the screen cuts the wind noise and the screen directs just the right amount of air at the visor to clear it from rain.
I’m 5’11’ (1.8 metres) and wear a Shark Evo One helmet and for me the Givi is ideal.

Wasn’t really fussed with the one I had. Would disagree with wind noise. I’m same height as you.

Eventually ended up putting original screen back on after cutting 10cm off it. No wind noise now. Could maybe have cut a little less off.
