Hey all - I've been away for a while (other than lurking for about 3 hours before reacquiring my account). I've piloted an '01 since new. Basically stock - only high-mount Staintune, fenderectomy, and Zeitgiest stickers. I've owned a number of other bikes - dirt, street, dual...but the VFR is "the one".

I am currently contemplating having teh wheel powdercoated to a bronze/gold color as the OEM black is a bit chipped...and I'm looking for ideas to do a custom GP'ish style silencer.

I look forward to being an active member of the community.

    Regards.

Welcome. You sure you want to be part of this "supervised" madness. What colour is you bike? Can't comment on the new wheels colour until I know that. You have some cool dudes in the Sac area.

Red (only '01 color here in the US I believe - '00s were yellow)

I think that would look cool. Not too dark of bronze though. BTW, you have been around 10 months longer than I
