Windshields? Anyone

Hi Guys, I just want to know if there are any aftermarket sources for VF windshields?

Huh, I guess the bikes are too old now. The problem with Ebay is that they are probably no better than usual ones as they would be scratched to a degree.

I was thinking if there was enough interest than I might be able to reproduce them NEW from clear to varying tints.

I just used a Fusion satin black paint and painted mine, came out pretty good.

 

^^^ agreed i did the same, and because of your tips it turned out really good makes the bike look sharp now

Thanks for the links. Upon looking at the twisted throttle site it appears like they only make the windshield for the F2 and not the standard half fairing on the F.

They say:

MRA screens fit only the VF500F2 (a fully faired motorcycle). MRA screens do not fit the half-faired VF500F or VF500F1.

The second link is much better. They make them for all the models. Fantastic! I appreciate the help.

Just another question though. What negative have you heard about this vendor?

The Gufstafson shield my buddy bought for his 1000R fit poorly and broke when drilled with the supplied bit. He may have tried to force it but the fit was still poor. The R has a funky shape so you may be good with the 500.
