I've had a RKA magnetic expandable bag since '91-2. I've lost the map part but other than that, it's held up perfectly. No tears, no fraying, nothing. Some minor sun fade, but what do you expect from a bag that's been in the sun for that many years?

I've had two 2 liter bottles of soda and other snacks in this thing without a slip from the magnets. And no not one worry about paint changes because of the magnets. That's as much because I NEVER leave it on when not riding.

I have a RKA bag on my ST 1100 (mounting straps)
and would also rate their quality as very good..
I purchased my 1st magnetic mount bag (a Marsee expandable bag)
for my 91 VFR and was amazed @ how well the magnets held,
@ highway speeds,( up to triple digits) with bag fully expanded
and cramed full of stuff..rode about 1000 miles like that
without a problem..a company I've dealt with many times in the past has several Marsee bags @ great closeout prices. Here's a link..
(no intrest in company, beyond a satisfied customer)..Joebiker996
